Bayside H.O.Y.A.S., Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Their mission is to promote academic excellence, positive character development, and civic responsibility among secondary school age youth and young adults in Kent and Queen Anne’s counties, Maryland. They work to achieve this mission through educational enrichment, mentoring, leadership training, health promotion, and public service projects with youth of limited opportunities. In 2020, Kris Kelley Photography documented the Day of Agreement in Maryland, co-hosted by the Bayside H.O.Y.A.S. and the Black Union of Kent County.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) is a national association in the United States that supports and promotes court-appointed advocates for abused or neglected children. CASA are volunteers from the community who complete training that has been provided by the state and local CASA offices. They are appointed by a judge, and their role is to gather information and make recommendations in the best interest of the child, keeping the child's personal wishes in mind. CASA' across the national support children in need. Kris Kelley photography is proud to work with local CASA offices to for promotional and special event photography.
A hospital experience can be terrifying and traumatic for both a child and their family. While others strive to find a cure, Ryan’s Case for Smiles helps with the stress and emotional impact of illness in the here and now. Their whimsical pillowcases give children an emotional boost, while resources and tools help families better understand and cope with the experience. Kris Kelley photography is proud to work with the national offices for promotional and special event photography.
Philadelphia is filled with cats and people that love them. Catadelphia works to connect the dots between people and #AllTheCats. Whether pet cats or street cats, people-loving, lap-sitting cats or our feral friends, there’s help out there for all of them. Kris Kelley Photography donates to Catadelphia each year and most recently, documented their annual winter Cat Shelter Building Workshop.
DMAX Foundation is a mental health nonprofit based in Bryn Mawr, PA. Through DMAX Clubs on college campuses, The Foundation creates trusting environments for students to have honest, everyday conversations about mental health, combating the mental health crisis sweeping the nation. They also host annual educational events, awareness campaigns, and a Casino Night fundraiser for the local community.
Kris Kelley Photography has been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity for nearly a decade, including the Club chapter at Washington College, documenting 4 collegiate challenges and countless Habitat community events on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Campus chapters of Habitat for Humanity set up volunteer opportunities, educate their schools and communities around issues related to housing and Habitat, and fundraise in the local area to support more housing opportunities.
Uniting people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) with families, friends, and allies, PFLAG is committed to advancing equality through its mission of support, education, and advocacy. Kris Kelley Photography was be a sponsor of the first ever Midshore Pride Celebration on May 3-5, 2019 in Maryland.
